Biography
Megan began her riding career at the age of 11 at Sunnybrook Stables located in the heart of Toronto, ON. She quickly focused her efforts on dressage, and at 16 she purchased her first and current top horse, K2. She travelled to Wellington, FL with K2 for the 2014-15 season and obtained qualifying scores for the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) to make her the top rider for Team Ontario and ranked third in Canada. Megan and K2 travelled to the NAJYRC in July 2015 and remained the top Ontario rider with an Individual 7th place finish in the Team test, bringing Team Ontario to an 8th place finish overall.
Following the 2018 winter season, Megan was hired on as the Assistant Rider at the Dutta Corporation’s Dressage stable in Wellington, FL. Under Susan Dutta’s guidance, Megan trained horses for competition and sale that were anywhere from 3 years old to grand prix horses.
