Feeding Rate: For best results feed from 1/4 to 2 lbs. per day added to the horse’s regular grain ration. Flax Appeal can be added as a top-dress to the horse’s regular ration or mixed with soaked beet pulp. Introduce gradually. Amount of feed required is dependent on the body condition, the metabolism and the type of activity that the horse is used for. Note: Warmblood and Draft type horses may require different amounts from light horse breeds.
