Fibre-Lite Forage Replacer is a pelleted feed containing 25% fibre from digestible sources such as soy hulls, wheat shorts, alfalfa meal, and beet pulp. It can be used as a partial hay replacer or for horses with lower energy requirements.
Mad Barn's Feed Bank provides nutritional profiles on +3,400 forages, feeds and supplements used in the equine diet. With our free diet formulation tool, this data can be used by horse owners and nutritionists to design balanced feeding programs for horses in their care.

Feeding Rate: Feed horses according to level and type of activity and to maintain ideal body condition. As a hay replacer substitute one to one by weight for hay. Horses with limited hay may show signs of boredom or develop undesirable habits. A minimum of 1% of bodyweight in forage is recommended whenever possible. Note: Warmblood and Draft type horses may require different amounts from light horse breeds. Amount of feed required is dependent on the body condition, the metabolism and the type of activity the horse is used for. For each pound of Fibrelite fed daily below ½ pound per 100 pounds of the horse’s bodyweight add ¼ pound (115 grams) Brooks Enhancer or All Phase 20. Provide fresh clean water and free choice salt at all times with a minimum of 1% of the horse’s bodyweight in hay or equivalent pasture. Store in a cool dry location. Amount fed varies according to the quality of hay or pasture. Hay analysis is recommended to ensure a balanced ration.
