Dr. Nick Hudson hails from Dunbar, West Virginia. After graduation, he completed an equine surgical, medical, and ambulatory internship at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, Colorado, where he worked alongside some of the nation’s leading lameness clinicians. Dr. Hudson is a farrier as well as a veterinarian, and he brings this unique approach to lameness to Bella Vista Equine. He completed farrier school at Cornell University, where he was trained by Mike Wildenstein, CJF, FWCF (Hon). While at Reata Equine Hospital in Weatherford Texas, Dr. Hudson worked in their Podiatry Center with Dr. Britt Conklin, managing podiatry cases including severe laminitis, navicular syndrome (caudal heel pain), and conformational hoof defects. He enjoys working closely with owners and farriers to keep our equine companions comfortable and working at their best.
