Dr. Smith feels that the most rewarding part of working in veterinary care is sharing a pet’s life from birth, all the way through their senior years. “When I am there from the first puppy or kitten visit all the way through when it’s time to say goodbye, and I have had the privilege to help that pet live a happier and healthier life, I feel a sense of fulfillment and pride that I have been able to share such an amazing time with the pet and their owners.” Outside of work, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, Scrubbles and Bella along with her 2 cats Bristol and Phoenix. She also loves traveling, hiking, photography, and scuba diving. (Source)
