Lindsay E. Andersen, D.V.M., is originally from Foxborough, Massachusetts. She grew up around Standardbred racehorses and learned to ride on her family’s retired mare. Lindsay earned her bachelor’s degree in pre-veterinary medicine from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2016 before taking a year off, prior to veterinary school. She then hopped on a plane for the very first time to move to Grenada, West Indies to attend veterinary school at St. George’s University. For her final clinical year, she traded sandy beaches for seas of corn at Iowa State University. While in the Caribbean, she fell in love with the culture and the beach, and eventually gave into temptation and brought home an island dog also known as a Grenadian Pothound. During undergrad and veterinary school, she worked and learned at South Shore Equine Clinic and when the time came, knew that she wanted to come back to kick off her career. Lindsay and her dog, Geneva, are excited to be back home and closer to the ocean and are looking forward to this next adventure. (Source)
