Frank graduated with highest honors from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. His love of the outdoors and the cattle ranching lifestyle attracted him to the Weiser Veterinary clinic shortly after graduation.
Dr. Coleman had plans of working in Weiser for a couple of years and eventually return to his home state of Montana. In 1984, however, Dr. Coleman had the opportunity to become an owner and partner at the Weiser Veterinary Clinic. He has practiced medicine in our rural area ever since. He met and fell in love with a local young lady and married his wife, Cindy, shortly thereafter. Together, they raised a son, Trent and daughter, Shelby. Both kids were very active in sports, rodeo and FFA.
Throughout his career, Frank has become a familiar face in our community. He has always been a friend to all creatures, big and small, however as of late, he enjoys working with production animals and equine. Frank has traveled many miles, has seen many cases and loves to continue to learn more about veterinary medicine. He has become a large asset to the local ranchers to aid in raising healthy livestock as well as helping to treat those who fall ill. He works tirelessly with local drug company representatives to allow our producers access to the latest in vaccines and medical treatments.
His biggest goal is to continue to provide the highest quality and compassionate care for all animals in the area. In his spare time, Frank enjoys his quiet time fishing in a remote pond, hunting the foothills and mountains in Idaho, riding and packing mules into the wilderness of the Selway of Northern Idaho and hiking. He also enjoys a good branding with local ranchers and family. (Source)
