At Mad Barn we are always looking for dedicated, experienced equine experts to join our rapidly growing team.
We are a different kind of nutrition company. Our primary goal is to deepen our understanding of equine nutrition and physiology, and use that knowledge to help horse owners feed their horses for optimal health and performance.
Our mission is to provide a free diet evaluation for every horse in North America. As part of our Nutrition Team, you will help us ensure that a well-balanced, cost-effective feeding program is in reach for all horse owners.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have completed a Masters, Ph.D. or another advanced degree in Animal Science, Equine Nutrition, or Veterinary Medicine. Ideal candidates from Quebec will have an Agronomist designation.
You should be well-versed in equine nutritional requirements, physiology and effective strategies for meeting the nutritional needs of horses in all life stages.
You must be a self-motivated researcher, writer and communicator, who is able to translate technical information into easy-to-understand language for the everyday horse owner.
You should be tech-savvy and capable of problem-solving on your own. Our Nutrition Team works remotely, so the ability to self-manage is critical.
Horse-sense is important. We are looking for candidates with extensive in-the-field experience and not just book smarts!
