About Élise Lafleur Larivière, M.Sc.

Élise grew up in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Riding horses before she could walk, her passion encouraged her to pursue studies in animal sciences. She completed her college degree in natural sciences at Heritage College, then went on to the University of Guelph where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and majored in Animal Biology. During her undergraduate degree, she developed a keen interest for nutrition. She, therefore, pursued her studies at Guelph with a Master of Science in swine nutrition. Her research focused on the detrimental effects of mycotoxin contamination and investigated supplements as a solution to mediate the performance losses. In her free time, you will most likely find her at the barn!
